New Audiobook Release Confirms “Dragons Hufflepuff Crest” Is Real

The release of the new Harry Potter movie left many fans excited about a few things including the infamous dragons. The question on many peoples minds, however, is whether or not the dragons in the Audiobook version of “Dragons Hufflepuff Crest” are considered “real” dragons. According to Mericleans, the dragon’s in the story are considered a figment of J.K. Rowling’s fertile imagination due to the lack of dragons in the Harry Potter world. They argue that since dragons don’t really exist in real life, it is unreasonable for a fictional character to have one. In addition, the dragons in the story are compared unfavorably with both Hagrid and Filius Flitwick, who are highly respected members of the faculty at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

On the other side of the debate, some Harry Potter fans are disagreeing with the claim that dragons blood is considered fictional. They argue that the blood of dragons is a powerful element that will allow Harry Potter to defeat darkness itself, which they feel is necessary to defeat the dark wizardry. Many fans also believe that the symbol on the dragon crest piece is meant to represent the bond between Harry Potter and his faithful half-blood friend, Ron Weasley.

Whether the dragons in the Audiobook version of “Dragons Hufflepuff Crest” are considered real is open to debate. The question will most likely remain, however, whether or not the symbol depicted on the dragon crest is considered a depiction of the bond that Harry Potter shares with his half-blood friend, Ron Weasley. Regardless, many fanatics of the Harry Potter series are upset with the new film for ignoring their long-time favorites, namely the dragons. For those who feel that dragons were an integral part of the story, the absence of them in this newest adaptation is disappointing.
