DragonVale is a video game that takes you on a journey through a virtual theme park. It was developed by Backflip Studios and released for iOS and Android on September 14, 2011. The game is an interactive breed-and-nurture simulation that lets you breed and care for dragons. It is one of Backflip’s first commercial successes.
Players in DragonVale must care for their dragons and build habitats for them. They can also visit other players’ habitats to gain in-game rewards and get inspiration for their own dragon city. The game also has a competitive aspect to it, with rewards for the best-trained dragons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone, whether it’s an adult or child.
Monthly events occur to allow players to earn more coins and find rare dragons. The island changes in seasonal fashion, so it becomes snowy during the winter season or green during the summer. During these events, the player will be required to perform certain activities in order to gain limited-time currency. These currencies are used to purchase exclusive items.
