Dragons Maid – continuation of the anime series “Dragon’s Maid” by Fujimoto-sensei

The story of the Maid begins with the story of a young Tokyo girl named Kobayashi. While at summer vacation with her friends, she gets lost in the countryside and her body is attacked by a dragon. She wakes up in a human body, but has the dragon tattooed on her shoulder so that whoever finds her can never tell the difference.

Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid is set in Edo period Japan, around the time of the Edo period when Japan was going through some major problems with their existence. It is during this time that the dragon’s maid began to serialize. The series started serialization in Futabasha’s monthly action magazine as the second part of the four part “Koi Summer” series and was later licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment in North America. Four more spin-off manga were also serialized in Monthly Action as well.

This is the second part of a five part “Zaibatsu” series. In the second half of the series, we get to meet the other three dragons maids – Futaba, Setsuna, and Fafnir. And we also see the other half of the main character, Setsuna, who is also from Edo period Japan, but is not a Dragon. I found this interesting and I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
