Dragons Game

Dragons are fierce, fire-breathing creatures that can fly and breathe flames hot enough to melt steel or scorch a man’s skin. They have hard scales and can be a daunting adversary for a hero in a video game, like the fun 3D platformer Spyro the Dragon, or a table-top role-playing game, like Dungeons and Dragons.

While the dragon’s ability to fly and breathe fire makes it an effective fighter, it is their apex predatory and carnivorous nature that truly sets them apart. Dragons are also known to snatch up tribute, gold and treasure in the form of cattle, sheep, armor or shields, and even a fallen horse or man on a battlefield, engaging in opportunistic or defensive cannibalism as they see fit.

When not swooping up tribute or prey, dragons often spend their time hunting and squabbling with rivals, especially as they approach adolescence at around the age of a young adult. At this stage, they are likely to show some rebellious behavior, much like human teenagers, and may snarl at their imprinted parents.

Dragons is a competitive game for 2-4 players, and each round is played over a series of battle rounds. On your turn, you can play one dragon or storm card from your hand to add to either your “dragon flight” or your “storm front”. Most cards have instant effects when played and some have ongoing effects if they are the top card in your dragon flight or storm front respectively.
