Dragon NaturallySpeaking Software Review
The Dragon NaturallySpeaking software package is a popular speech recognition solution for Windows-based personal computers. It was originally developed by a company called Dragon Systems of Newton, Massachusetts, and later acquired by Lernout & Hauspie Speech Products and Nuance Communications. The program works well on a Windows-based computer. Users can use the program to dictate text messages, documents, and emails. Besides helping people with disabilities to read and write, Dragon NaturallySpeaking is also helpful for people with poor eyesight or even people who cannot speak clearly.
Users can build a strong vocabulary by training words in the Dragon software. For example, if someone in the office is working on a document, he or she can add the spoken form of the word. For example, if a person enters “act four” in the spoken form column, it will be transcribed as “Act IV.” When he or she uses the Dragon software, it automatically translates the text into text.
The Dragon software works on desktops and mobile devices. The premium version allows you to download the software without a disc. The other versions require you to use the installation CD. To install Dragon, start a web browser and select the product you would like to download. Once you have chosen the product, you can wait a few minutes while the download completes. You may need to turn off your antivirus and update your windows before you begin using Dragon.
