Dragon From Shrek

Dragon is a fire-breathing creature who serves as the guardian of Fiona’s castle and has immense physical strength. She is able to use her tail to destroy stone walls and structures and she possesses the ability to fly through the air with ease. Dragon also carries the ability to communicate with other creatures through body language and roars.

When Shrek and Donkey escaped from the Dragon Keep, Dragon attempted to fight them but was unable to match their physical prowess. Instead, she lured the pursuing statue of a dragon to the narrow file that she had been hiding behind and caused it to scrape its wings off, effectively killing it.

Though Dragon did not join Shrek, Donkey and Fiona in their quest to liberate the other fairytale creatures from Far Far Away, she did make an appearance in a post-credits scene with six young “dronkeys” (dragon/donkey hybrids). In this made-for-television special, Dragon appears to be very lonely, and she regularly wears lipstick in hopes of finding a romantic partner.

In the sequel, Dragon becomes one of Shrek’s best friends, and she is also pregnant with hybrid children that are a combination of a dragon and a donkey. While her child-rearing duties prevent her from accompanying the trio on their quest to save Princess Fiona, she is reunited with them in the end and is seen helping Shrek thwart the efforts of Prince Charming and the other fairytale villains who want to take over the Kingdom of Far Far Away.
