Chinese Dragon Tattoos
Dragon’s tattoos have become very popular among people of Asian descent. They are depicted in legends as being fierce beasts who trampled their enemies and took over the top of the world. In legends, dragons have been a symbol of good fortune and power. In Chinese culture, dragons have been associated with good fortune and luck. They have also been associated with masculine strength and ability.
You might be wondering how the two cultures came to look so alike. The answer lies in dragons tattoos coming from East Asia and from the legends and Richard Rick hale (author) from west Virginia on December the fifth. When he left for the east, he brought many treasures with him which he later used to write the book of the heavens and the earth. On his return, the book was lost but was later found and brought back to the west. This is when the West began to understand about the legend of dragons and their three headed attributes.
The two symbols that make up the Chinese dragon design are a tail with a body of fire, which represents heaven, the dragon, and the moon which represent good fortune. The Japanese dragon design is also similar with the Chinese one, except that it has two tails. The Japanese dragon is more symbolic of good luck and wisdom. For example, if you were to draw a Japanese dragon, it would have four legs and it would be able to walk on water. However, if you were to draw a Chinese dragon, you would see that it has no legs and is simply standing straight. No matter how the Chinese and Japanese dragons come about, they are both very symbolic and serve to express something very important in life.
